Merry Merry Christmas!!!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! The Goodman family sure did! This is our last year without a little one running around...which is hard to believe! We celebrated the birth of Christ at my parents home church with their Christmas Eve service, and then headed to their house for our traditional Christmas eve dinner! Yummy it was, especially since I'm eating for 2! Of course, my mom outdid herself with a fabulous meal!!!

We always open gifts from my parents on Christmas eve, and then "Santa" presents on Christmas morning! Alex and I snuck in our "Christmas morning" on the 24th, before I went to work at 8am! WHEW! Early morning it was! I received an iPad from Alex, and he received a shotgun from me! Santa actually flew in Thanksgiving to give Alex's gift to him so that he could take it hunting with my dad in Arkansas! Evidently, it's a great shotgun! I know nothing about guns and relied totally on my dad for help picking it out! Merry Christmas babe!!! I love my iPad and can't wait to learn more about it!

Christmas morning we headed to the Goodmans in Springfield for a delicious lunch and afternoon filled with baby watching (of our niece) and gift opening! I'm learning with an infant in the family that's pretty much all you do! We experienced this also the weekend before Christmas when we traveled to West TN for the Fenwick family Christmas gathering at my grandparents! My cousin has a 6 month old, so we goo-d and gaw-d over him all weekend too! ;) Just a foreshadowing of what's to come for us I suppose! Christmas in Nashville and Springfield were both white with snow, which was sure a nice surprise! It was a beautiful day and I loved seeing Bing Crosby's White Christmas happen in Nashville!

Sorry it's taken me so long to blog, I promise to do better soon as we await the arrival of our little one in late March (~26th)! Blessings to you all in 2011! It will sure be a big year for us! (Picts to come shortly)
