Summer nights...

This time of year is SOOOOOOO hot in the South! Despite the heat, we've managed to have one amazing summer. We kicked it off Memorial Day with a vacation to Charleston! I had the week off, so mom and I headed up on Monday. Then dad and Alex joined us on Friday! We even had the privilege of attending a Charleston wedding! One of my high-school friends Danielle Baskin truly showed us what a wedding there is all about...great food, amazing scenery, and wonderful dancing on a scorching summer night! It was so charming! I'm officially in love with that city, to the point that I'm currently reading...

Just when we thought improvements to the office were finished, we decided to do this one hot-hot-hot Saturday! Before this was laid, there were only 4 stepping stones that greeted you at the front of the office! What hard work Alex put in to this! (I mulched while he laid pavers, b/c they were too heavy for me to lift!) Great addition to Goodman Family Dentistry (as it will further be known as GFD!)

Alex celebrated the big 2-9 on June 23rd! Just one year closer to the B-I-G 3-0! Only one more year honey! (Don't worry, I only have 3 years to go to catch up with ya on that one! HA!)
