So I'm a little behind on this post, but our first Mule Day was a HUGE success! It was so much fun to have both my entire family and Alex's family here in Columbia for the main event! The morning started with breakfast here, as the roads to our house closed around 9:30am. Then, we walked up our back street to the parade! Wow! What a new adventure. I've never seen so many people in one place for a parade.
After the parade, we spent the beautiful afternoon enjoying our backyard with great food and games! Then we headed to the Maury County Park around 4:30 to enjoy the true festivities! Overall a true success! Can't wait for next year!
